Hot on the heels of having Jason Kelce chased by “unnamed hockey mask wearing copyright protected serial killer,” Garage Beer is getting a little more blatant with a tie-in for Predator: Badlands. Specifically, a 11-minute long film titled Thermal Buzz.
“As a 90’s kid there’s nothing I loved more than a good action movie. In my mind, it’s hard to find a movie more iconic than Predator. From the memes to the epic quotes, nothing compares in terms of action-packed entertainment,” said Jason Kelce via a press release provided to Comic Book Club. “We’re just pumped that our short film can be part of the moment; I can’t wait to see Predator: Badlands.”
Side note: they’re already screening the movie, so someone get Kelce a ticket before the Yautja pulls his skull out of his head!
Anyway, back to the beer movie… It’ll debut on Friday, October 31 and feature Kelce versus the Predator in a classic situation out of the original movie. It was filmed just outside Orlando, directed by Jordan Phoenix, and stars per PR, “pro-wrestler Matt Cardona and former Philadelphia Eagles Defensive Tackle and Super Bowl Champion Beau Allen.”
How does this all tie into Garage Beer, Kelce’s brand? You’ll have to watch Thermal Buzz to find out when it debuts on Friday. Meanwhile? Get to the chopper. You can watch an ad for the short film which has been running on NFL games, below!
