He’s just an 8-bit transvestite from Transylvania, and we’ve got your first, exclusive look at Frank-N-Furter, from the just-launched Kickstarter campaign for The Bride of Rocky Horror.

Written by Magdalene Visaggio, with art by Noemi Vettori and cover art by Soo Lee, the original graphic novel is an official sequel to the Rocky Horror Show, taking place seven years after the iconic musical.

“”Rocky Horror is one of my favorite stories of all time,” said Visaggio via press release. “It was the safest queer art I had access to when I was young because my parents were both huge fans. So to get the chance to look beyond it and see how it could have played out once that fateful night ended was a dream come true. I tried to make something as personal and idiosyncratic as O’Brien’s original, riffing off the themes that stood out to me the same way O’Brien was riffing on his childhood influences. I think me and Noemi have made something really unique.”

Alongside the full-color, 95-page graphic novel from Bit Bot Media are a slew of extras, including four prints by Lee, plush figures of Frank-N-Furter and Rocky, a video game, the video game soundtrack, and our exclusive reveal below of 8-bit figures of the character made famous on screen by Tim Curry.

Here’s the official synopsis of the book, followed by the 8-bit pic:

In Bride of Rocky Horror, Janet Weiss has embraced a life of decadence and debauchery. But when a mysterious invitation draws her back into the orbit of her ex-fiancé Brad Majors, a new mystery unfolds. Who is the enigmatic Bridget Von Frankenstein? What secrets is Brad hiding? And is it, once again, time for the Time Warp?
