It’s almost Halloween, and it’s scary how good the new comics this week are. So grab yourself a treat from our highlights below, followed by the full list of new comics coming to stores for October 29, 2025.
DC has only four comics coming out this week, and they’re all bangers. Absolute Batman Annual brings on Daniel Warren Johnson for a story of Batman taking down racists. Superman: Red and Blue Special brings on some all-star writers and artists for tales of the Man of Steel. And Batman: The Long Halloween – The Last Halloween #10 finishes the saga from Jeph Loeb and the departed Tim Sale.
Over at Marvel, Death of the Silver Surfer wraps up with the introduction of a new Silver Surfer. Runaways also wraps up its One World Under Doom tie-in. And you’re gonna have to make a choice in Cloak or Dagger #1.
Dynamite launches a brand-new Supernatural #1, telling tales of the Winchester bros from early seasons of The CW show. Crownsville #1 tells a dark supernatural tale that should please fans of films like Candyman. And Return to Sleepy Hollow #1 is the official sequel to the Tim Burton classic.
