Marvel TV Announces Upcoming Release Dates: ‘X-Men ’97’ Season 2, ‘Daredevil’ Season 2, More

X-Men 97 cast

During a packed to the gills Marvel TV and animation panel at New York Comic Con, Marvel Studios announced a slew of upcoming release dates for shows, including the highly anticipated returns of X-Men ’97, and Daredevil: Born Again for second seasons.

First up? Wonder Man, which was originally scheduled for this December, has been shifted to January 27, 2026. Starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as the title character, the Hollywood satire will run eight episodes, presumably right into…

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, which will premiere in March, 2026. Technically we already knew that, as the producers of the show announced it would be coming in March — and they’re aiming for a yearly cadence for Season 3 as well — back after the finale of Season 1. In Season 2, Daredevil (Charlie Cox) will be reunited with his Defenders buddy Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) as the fight against Kingpin (Vincet D’Onofrio) heats up.

Then in the Summer, it’s finally time for X-Men ’97 Season 2, mon chere. While we don’t have a more specific release date than that (if we’re going every two months, let’s say May, but TBA), but it’ll pick up with the X-Men in three different time periods, battling Apocalypse, and lead directly into the officially announced Season 3 of the series — with the aim for that to get it on screens in 2027, but also TBA.

Then in the Fall is Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 (this has also been picked up for Season 3), and will bring on Venom and Spider-Gwen, among other characters.

Last but not least is Vision Quest, which is being described as the end of the trilogy that started with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along. That will debut in Winter, and star Paul Bettany alongside James Spader as Ultron, Orla Brady as FRIDAY, Henry Lewis as DUM-E, and others. The concept is that White Vision is wrestling with his psyche and seeing other androids and robots in human form. Oh, and picking up off the cliffhanger from Agatha All Along, Ruaridh Mollica has been cast as Vision’s son Tommy, aka Speed.

So to recap:

  • January 27, 2026: Wonder Man
  • March, 2026: Daredevil: Born Again, Season 2
  • Summer: X-Men ’97, Season 2
  • Fall: Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, season 2
  • Winter: VisionQuest

Make my 2026 Marvel, I guess?
