If you’re a fan of Marvel, and a fan of ice cream — and are in New York City this week for New York Comic Con — have we got news for you: Citizen and Marvel are teaming up for Marvel’s Super Hero Scoops ice cream truck, which will be touring NYC starting today — including at the Javits Center for NYCC.
Per PR from Citizens, you can expect:
- Marvel-inspired frozen treats + Avengers-themed Dryer’s Grand Ice Cream
- A playful “jingle-ified” Avengers theme to kick off each stop
- Marvel-inspired giveaways for the first 500 guests, plus trivia prizes!
Not only that, but you’ll have a chance to win (again, per PR) “Marvel-inspired watches from Citizen, including: Spider-Man Double Vision Boxed Set, Captain America Soars, The Fantastic Four: First Steps Boxed Set and Avengers Legacy.”
If you want free ice cream (again, who doesn’t), you’ll need to head to Queens today starting at 11am, then Brooklyn this afternoon. Tomorrow (October 9), the truck will head to Midtown, then over to the Javits Center in the afternoon. And on Saturday (October 11), you can check it out at the home of Daredevil, Hell’s Kitchen, followed by the Javits Center — again in the afternoon.
Check out the full schedule below, and fingers crossed this is a little more upscale than your regular, drippy gumball-eyed Spider-Man pop.
