‘Little Visitor & Other Abductions’: Exclusive Trailer For Oni Press’ Triptych Of Terror Will Take You To Another Dimension Of Weirdness

Little Visitor

Adam Szym’s disturbing graphic novella “A Cordial Invitation” was nominated for Ignatz and Bram Stoker awards. Now two more stories of weird science fiction are joining it in Oni Press’ new book, Little Visitor & Other Abductions. And we’ve got your first look at the trailer for the graphic novel, which hits stores this week.

“The fear of us or our loved ones being taken and absorbed into something we don’t understand, supernatural or not, lingers in the peripheral vision of many,” said Szym via press release. “I’m excited to share this collection of stories that taps into childhood fears of mine and anxieties that still permeate our society today.”

What are the tales about? Per PR, “The cast and crew of an obscure film recount a tragedy that occurred during its doomed production. A young girl searches for her father in the darkness of the desert and stumbles upon an otherworldly cocktail party. Two strangers nurture violent thoughts in a bitter, lonely child as his village’s harvest festival nears. Connecting these three stories is one horrific theme…”

What that theme is, you’ll have to find out for yourself. But the eerie book is a must-read, combining visuals reminiscent of Charles Burns with stories straight out of The Twilight Zone. You can get a taste of what to expect in the spooooooky “vintage” teaser trailer below.

Little Visitor & Other Abductions hits stores on September 24, 2025 from Oni Press.
