On today’s episode, we’re looking through the highlights from the DC Comics December 2025 solicits, including All Fight Month, and much more.

This is Comic Book Club News for September 23, 2025.

DC Comics December 2025 Solicit Highlights:

DC keeps the brawl to end them all going in December, as the DC K.O. event heats up for “All Fight Month.” In a series of eight tie-in issues, DC characters will go head-to-head in eight comics that feature characters like Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, and more, aiming to take down their opponents in order to gain Omega Energy strong enough to take on Darkseid. Wondering what the mash-ups are? DC is keeping that secret until New York Comic Con.

Things aren’t slowing down in the Absolute Universe, either. Absolute Batman #15 reunites Scott Snyder and Jock for a horror tale that reveals the monstrous Joker. Snyder will also team up with Frank Tieri and Joshua Hixson for an Absolute Batman: Ark M Special one-shot. Absolute Wonder Woman #15 is the first part of a two-part crossover with, you guessed it, Absolute Batman. And the lauded Absolute Martian Manhunter returns for issue #7 after a short break.

Back in the main DC Universe, Batman #4 promises a criminal conspiracy that will change the game for crime and criminals in Gotham City. Birds of Prey #28 is unfortunately the final issue of the Eisner-nominated series. The disturbing synopsis for Poison Ivy #39 reads, “Having a friend for dinner is simply lovely, isn’t it?” Harley Quinn celebrates 200 issues, which is weird because it celebrated 50 issues back in April, but whatever.

And over on the Black Label line, Superman: The Kryptonite Spectrum ends with issue #5, and what seems to be a riff on The Wizard of Oz.
