‘Batman’ #1 Sells Out, Second Printing Coming With New Covers

You’ll be saying, “Curses! Foiled again!” if you pick up the foil second printing variant for Batman #1 by Dan Mora. That’s because DC Comics has announced the new volume of the venerable series by Matt Fraction and Jorge Jiménez is heading back to press after selling out.

Batman #1 Second Printing will hit stores on October 15, and feature a recolored Batman logo on Jiménez’s main cover, and per PR from DC, “a new open-to-order cardstock variant cover by Jiménez and Tomeu Morey, plus a stunning new variant cover by Dan Mora offered in both cardstock and foil editions.”

This will come hot on the heels of Batman #2, which will be “Robin’s dark night.” Note it will not be “Robin’s Dark Knight” because that would be confusing.
