‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ #13 Gets In On The Blind Bag Action With Exclusive Variants

tmnt 13 blind bag

This December, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #13 introduces the new creative team of Gene Luen Yang and Freddie E. Williams II. And in advance of the books debut, IDW has announced they’re getting in on the blind bag action with exclusive variant covers for the issue.

All costing $4.99, the bling bags need to be pre-ordered by stores on October 20, and based on the glimpses below seem to be very much worth it. You’ve got blind bag exclusives from Nathan Szerdy, David Nakayama, and Rahzzah — the last of which introduces a new villain named Ujigami.

The blind bags, per usual, will also include any of the other covers, including a totally rad one by Daniel Warren Johnson.

This marks just the latest publisher to get in on the action. Invincible Universe Battle Beast #1 at Skybound sold a massive 400,000 copies based on the program, and DC has dove in with blind bags for this week’s Batman #1, as well as the upcoming DC K.O. #1. And Marvel is getting into the game, too, with December’s Ultimate Endgame. Maybe they’re ending the game, since that comes out on December 31? I don’t know, I just work here.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #13 hits stores on December 10. Check out the full line-up and the covers below, and click for larger versions.
