Peacemaker is here for Season 2, and the premiere episode is packed with a wild array of DC Comics Easter eggs and references — even beyond the main plot, which riffs off a classic DC multiverse-style story. One of those blink-and-you-miss-it cameos? White Rabbit, a character who is a relative deep cut (middle cut, maybe?) from DC Comics, played by actress Brey Noelle.
Spoilers for Peacemaker past this point. The scene in question happens towards the beginning of this week’s episode of the HBO Max series, as Peacemaker (John Cena) is heading to audition for the Justice Gang in, of all places, an abandoned Krank Toys outlet in a strip mall. As he goes to enter, the door opens and a sobbing White Rabbit storms out, walking away into the distance as he watches, confused.
That’s the entirety of the appearance (and in case anyone is curious, you won’t be seeing her in at least the rest of the first five episodes, which were provided to critics for review). But as we discover when Peacemaker finds out there’s some faulty setup of the microphone situation in the auditions, White Rabbit was sobbing because Maxwell Lord (Sean Gunn) kept mentioning “that rabbit woman’s camel toe… I must have said it 30 times.”
That explains this busy storming out of the audition, for sure:

Yikes! Anyway, let’s talk about more pleasant things, like what White Rabbit’s deal is in DC Comics.
Who Is White Rabbit In DC Comics?
Not to be confused with the Marvel Comics version of White Rabbit, there have actually been three incarnations of the DC Comics character. The first is Angora Lapin, introduced in 1993’s Adventures of Superman #500 by Louise Simonson and Jon Bogdanove. Lapin doesn’t have any powers, and is essentially just an arms dealer who operated in Metropolis.
The second White Rabbit was introduced in 2006’s Shadowpact #1, is male, and is a skilled swordsman working for the villain group Pentacle. He was created by Bill Willingham, who provided both writing and art for the issue.

…But the White Rabbit we’re referencing on Peacemaker is definitely the third incarnation, Jaina Hudson. Created by Paul Jenkins and David Finch in 2011’s Batman: The Dark Knight, Vol. 2 #1, part of DC’s New 52 initiative, the Batman villain on the surface seems to be similar to Catwoman: she’s a socialite and criminal who gets tangled up with The Dark Knight. However, there’s an extra wrinkle here which is that White Rabbit has the power of bio-fission, which allows her to separate into two different beings: Jaina Hudson; and White Rabbit.
Like a lot of Gotham City villains, White Rabbit has straddled both sides of the law, most recently in 2024’s very fun Gotham City Sirens miniseries, which hinged on her bio-fission powers… Including being able to create a massive, Hulk-esque version of herself called Dumb Bunny. Fun stuff! Check it out.

She’s got 31.7k followers on Instagram, and is clearly excited to be a brief, but fun part of Peacemaker:
