You have no idea who will win at the end of DC Comics’ upcoming event DC K.O. And you’ll have even less of an idea thanks to a just-announced incentive featuring mystery, foil variant covers, polybagged for extra secrecy.
Called “Lights Out” Polybag Special Edition covers, underneath the polybag will be one foil variant version of the regularly available DC K.O. #1 covers. However, there are even more special, randomly inserted covers: a 1:100 ratio variant by Mark Spears; a 1:250 by Javi Fernández; a 1:500 by Jim Lee; and a 1:000 cover by Greg Capullo. Unlike the other covers, those four will only be available in the polybags.
This comes hot on the heels of Marvel’s announcement for blind bag editions of Ultimate Endgame #1 in December, as well as DC’s own “Blind as a Bat” bags for Batman #1. Eventually, you’ll have no idea what’s on sale in the comic book shop! Fun!
