‘New Avengers’ #6 Teases: “Who Is The Traitor?”

New Avengers #6 cover

Someone get Alan Cumming on the phone, because one of the New Avengers is a traitor. And exactly who will be revealed in New Avengers #6 by Sam Humphries and Ton Lima.

In the Marvel series, The Winter Soldier, Black Widow, Clea, Carnage, and Wolverine have joined together to take down the Killuminati, clones of some of the most powerful characters in the Marvel Universe. But in the aftermath, they’ve learned that one of their own is the mastermind behind the whole plot. Given the “mastermind” designation I’m going to say “not Carnage” but I guess we’ll see.

“I’ve fallen in love with these characters and this team so much, and I thought, hey, let’s mercilessly tear them apart from the inside!” Humphries said via press release. “The New Avengers and the Killuminati are on a collision course, but secrets are plaguing both teams. There’s only one person with the big picture. Which side are they on? Couldn’t be more thrilled to be collaborating with Ton Lima on this arc. His artwork is absolutely sizzling right off the page.”

You can check out the synopsis for New Avengers #6 alongside covers by Stephen Segovia and Paco Medina, below. New Avengers #6 hits stores on November 12.
