‘Black Mirror’ Graphic Novel Comes To Steam, Thanks To Comics Subscription Service InkyPen

InkyPen, the digital comics subscription service that previously launched on Nintendo Switch back in 2018, is coming to Steam. And not only that, it’s bringing the first Black Mirror graphic novel along with it.

The news comes as part of, per PR provided to Comic Book Club, “a digital rights partnership agreement between Twisted Comics and InkyPen,” which includes a 20-page preview of the new graphic novel, which will adapt the USS Callister episode of the Netflix series. Adapted by Neil Gibson with art by Silvano Beltramo, Twisted Comics promises this is the first of many graphic novels that will head to the popular gming platform.

“The InkyPen team have the ability to do things no one else can, with Black Mirror, that’s exactly what we need,” Neil Gibson, Writer and Publisher at Twisted Comics, said via press release.

Added Ronan Huggard, CEO at InkyPen, “If one person is to write Black Mirror in the comics world, it would have to be Neil Gibson. I can’t see a better choice. Having the right indie publisher entrusted with a revered brand is a rare treat. We just had to get involved.”

The first 20 pages are available now, while the currently running (successful) Kickstarter for the book has six days left, as of this writing.

USS Callister will hit stores (and Steam) later in 2025. An adaptation of the Black Mirror episode San Junipero will follow in 2026. Check out a preview of USS Callister, below.
