Destroy Your Comics This Halloween With Marvel’s Retro Mask Variant Covers

Ever looked at a comic book cover and thought, “I wish I had a reason to cut a big hole in that”? Well, now you do with Marvel’s Retro Halloween Mask Variant Covers, designed by James Kerrigan.

“Working on this cover series was a blast because it brought together two things I love deeply: Marvel and Halloween,” Kerigan said via press release. “There’s a nostalgic charm to the Halloween decorations of the ’70s, especially those vacu-form costume masks, which served as inspiration for this project. It was a joy to bring that retro, slightly spooky charm to life in a way that celebrates both the season and the art!”

Dropping in September, with plenty of time for you to absolutely wreck those comics, the variant cover program features characters ranging from Spider-Man to Doctor Doom, all with cut-out lines and instructions. They also don’t seem to be card-stock, so they’re gonna get floppy, folks.
