This is Comic Book Club News for July 25, 2025.

Marvel October 2025 Solicits Highlights:

October sees Marvel’s X-Men line evolving once again with the Age of Revelation crossover. In it, Doug Ramsey, the heir of Apocalypse, transforms Earth into what is supposed to a be a mutant utopia. It goes wrong, of course, and ten years later every book on the line is a post-apocalyptic version of itself. The event will kick off in X-Men: Age of Revelation Overture #1, and then continue in books like Amazing X-Men, The Last Wolverine, Undeadpool, and many more.

Over to Spider-Man, Amazing Spider-Man splits in two, following a mysterious, cosmic Spider-Man in one issue, while the Earthbound one fights to save Norman Osborn’s life. Amazing Spider-Man: Torn is a new miniseries by J. Michael Straczynski, heading back to Peter’s college days. Venom #250 returns to legacy numbering… And brings on the return of Knull, the God of the Symbiotes, as well. And Erik Larsen returns to Marvel to write a Spider-Man: Noir miniseries to tee up the live-action Prime Video series.

In the Ultimate Universe, someone’s gonna die as Ultimate Spider-Man #22 teases “the last will and testament of [redacted].” The Ultimate Fantastic Four may return in Ultimates #17. And Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion wraps up the miniseries and sets up the Endgame for the Ultimate Universe.

White Tiger Reborn is a one-shot celebrating the new White Tiger, Ava Ayala. Spirits of Violence is a Ghost Rider team-up book. The new Marvel Knights line expands with a Punisher series from Jimmy Palmiotti and Dan Panosian. Rainbow Rowell’s Runaways miniseries ends and promises a “heartbreaking finale.” And Imperial wraps up Jonathan Hickman’s cosmic war with a fourth issue and the launch of new, cosmic Guardians in a one-shot.
