After a year of (mostly) staying apart, DC Comics‘ Absolute Universe is starting to weave tighter together. In October, the publisher will reveal Absolute Evil, which has all the villains of the universe teaming up. And then on December 24, an early Christmas present for you: as revealed at DC’s All In San Diego Comic-Con panel, Absolute Batman is guest-starring in Absolute Wonder Woman #15.
The news was — briefly — revealed at the panel thanks to a cover by artist Hayden Sherman and colorist Jordie Bellaire, shared by writer Kelly Thompson on her newsletter:

“This will be out on 12/24… so HAPPY HOLIDAYS!” Thompson wrote. “I don’t know how much I’m allowed to say at this time without getting in trouble… so I’ll just be quiet, but expect some more news soon!”
So yeah, that’s the long and the short of the news: it’s happening! However, of note on the panel, DC All In architects Scott Snyder and Joshua Williamson noted that though the main DC Universe and the Absolute Universe are getting tied together more closely thanks to upcoming events like DC K.O., this is far from the end of the Absolute Universe… A crossover means things are just getting started.
