Tyler Kirkham Is Ready To Finish The Fight With Image’s ‘Final Boss’

Get over here and finish him with Final Boss, a new ongoing series from Image Comics written and drawn by Tyler Kirkham.

“Final Boss is a culmination of everything I loved growing up as an ’80s and ’90s kid,” said Kirkham via a press release. “From the fan-favorite action heroes and beat ’em up arcade games to the groundbreaking energy of early Image comics. It’s a no-holds-barred nostalgic action adventure!”

Marking Kirkham’s debut at Image, the series focuses on a man named Tommy Brazen who uses his “newfound powers” to get paid for “enforcer gigs and street fights,” only to discover secrets from the past that are “far more complex than he ever imagined.”

The first issue will feature an array of covers by Kirkham, as well as V. Ken Marion, Ryan Ottley, and Jae Lee. You can check them out below, and go tell Kirkham you said “hey” at booth 5012 in Artist Alley, at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend. Final Boss #1 hits stores in November.
