Kyle Starks And Piotr Kowalski Reteam For Dark Horse Horror Comic ‘Devil On My Shoulder’

Kyle Starks and Piotr Kowalski are teaming up once again for the new horror comic miniseries Devil on My Shoulder from Dark Horse Comics.

“I wanted to do something new with DEVIL ON MY SHOULDER – I wanted to do something dark and horrifying. A true Horror Story in the style of the classic Bloody Revenges,” said Starks via press release. “This book has terrible people doing terrible things and then suffering terrible consequences. Our villains are awful, do monstrous things and our heroine’s revenge will be equal to what she takes if not worse. Be forewarned, this is not a comedy. This is not humorous. This is a violent and nasty, action-filled book for fans of horror comics, the Crow, Revenge, Kill Bill or I Saw The Devil. We made a book for lovers of revenge and violence and you couldn’t ask for a better partner than Piotr Kowalski. This is our third book together and I think it’s some of his best work yet – it’s extremely cinematic.”  

In the new series, a woman named Tee was “tortured by five men and left for dead.” She’s not dead, of course, and is going to get revenge on all of them in the bloodiest way possible. But unlike most revenge tales, this one will take her down “a strange and violent supernatural path of payback through bizarre encounters with ex-hitmen, sadistic art enthusiasts, and literal devils.”

Devil on My Shoulder #1 (of 4) hits stores on November 5 with covers by Kowalski, Martin Simmonds, and Christian Ward.
