In addition to the previously revealed covers for Marvel and DC’s epic crossover Deadpool/Batman #1, we now have even more variant covers for the issue from Artgerm, Steve McNiven, and Peach Momoko… But not Chip Zdarsky.
“I kind of assumed Marvel would let me draw a variant cover, but then I see Terry [Dodson] did one, even though he already gets to draw the (amazing) story inside? Doesn’t seem fair!” Zdarsky said via press release.
Though (all apologies to the artists) none of them hold a candle to Gurihiru’s Jeff the Land Shark/Krypto crossover cover, the new looks feature Artgerm crossing over Magik and Catwoman, McNiven pitting Wolverine versus Batman, and Momoko pairing Elektra and Batgirl. That said, the Dodson cover of Wonder Woman and Captain America seems to be the only one with a story inside the issue (that would be by Zdarsky).
Don’t worry, there are even more covers to come, but in the meantime you can check out the new ones, below. Deadpool/Batman #1 hit stores on September 17, followed by Batman/Deadpool #1 from DC Comics in November.
