Marvel is remaking their X-Men line in October with Age of Revelation, a future-set event that finds Earth transformed by Revelation, the heir of Apocalypse. And along with the reveal of the final batch of tie-ins and miniseries, the publisher has also revealed the first trade collections of the event.
All releasing on October 29, the new launches include Expatriate X-Men, Cloak Or Dagger, Undeadpool, and X-Vengers. They join the 13 (!!) previously announced series, which will debut throughout the month of October. But the more curious news is the trade paperback collections, which will start hitting in April, 2026.
The three titles revealed are: X-Men: Age of Revelation – Overture, X-Men: Age of Revelation – Book of Revelation, and X-Men: Age of Revelation – World of Revelation. Those all match up with previously revealed titles for one-shots and minis. But will these trades collect more than those titles? Given the trade dress seen on the covers, one tends to wonder if each mini will be released in separate digest format; or if we’ll get multiple omnibus-style editions. Or perhaps all of the above! If Marvel is picking up their bookstore game for this event, that would make a lot of sense.
