DC To Release Our Worlds At War Omnibuses:
The 2001 DC Comics event Our Worlds at War is getting not one, but two omnibus editions.
Per ICv2, the event is written by Jeph Loeb, Joe Kelly, and others, with art by Doug Mahnke, Ed McGuinness, Mike McKone, and more, and features Superman and his fellow heroes fighting a cosmic threat called Imperiex.
The first volume, Superman: Our Worlds at War Omnibus Vol. 1: Prelude to War!, runs 816 pages and includes multiple issues of Action Comics, Adventures of Superman, Superman, as well as several one-shots and tie-in issues.
Interestingly, Our Worlds at War was previously released as two volumes back in 2002 and 2003, though those collected only the main Superman issues, and ran 256 pages each. Superman: Our Worlds at War Omnibus Vol. 1: Prelude to War! will hit stores on November 25, 2025. The second volume does not currently have a release date.
Clover Press Releases Humble Bundle:
Clover Press has released a new Humble Bundle focusing on the Art of Storytelling, and it’s a pretty great deal.
Per Graphic Policy, the bundle from the high-end publisher normally costs $599 — and is now a minimum of $18. Included are Tim Sale’s Billi 99, Ricardo Delgado’s Dracula of Transylvania, a graphic novel adaptation of The Great Gatsby, and more.
Even better, it helps support The Hero Initiative, which is “the first-ever federally chartered not-for-profit corporation dedicated strictly to helping comic book artists and craftsmen in need.”
The offer ends on July 17, so head to the Humble Bundle site to snag it now.
Chris Ware Designs Stamps:
Comic creator Chris Ware is putting his stamp on the postal service with a special pane “of 20 commemorative stamps titled 250 Years of Delivering.”
Per Pantheon Books, which revealed the news, the stamps will hit on July 23, and honors “the rich legacy and enduring cultural impact of American stamps.”
Alongside the Ware-designed stamps, which depict a mail carrier’s journey through all four seasons, there will also be a 32-page booklet titled Putting a Stamp on the American Experience. This features two sheets showcasing Ben Franklin, based on a reproduction of America’s first stamp from 1847.
