New comics, who diss? Do we still say that? No? Okay then, here’s the full list of new comics this week for December 11, 2024.
Marvel has a big one this week with the release of Ultimate Universe: One Year In #1, which turns the lens to the bad guys of the Ultimate U, and teases the upcoming Ultimate Wolverine. There’s also Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #1, which sets up the upcoming Disney+ animated series. And not to be stopped there, Laura Kinney: The Wolverine #1, Alien: Paradiso #1, and Infinity Watch #1 all hit stands, as well.
DC Comics, meanwhile, chills things out a little bit with the throwback book Batman: Dark Patterns, a new noir mystery set in the Dark Knight’s early days. And Superwoman Special #1 takes a look at Lois Lane, now that she has Superman powers.
BOOM! Studios has the gross-looking sci-fi horror book In Bloom #1. Dark Horse launches From The World Of Minor Threats: The Brood #1 and a new issue of the superb FML. Image Comics releases the must-buy collection The One Hand and the Six Fingers. And Oni Press releases the spooky holiday anthology Shiver Suspenstories #1.
