Does ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ Have A Post Credits Scene?

Joker: Folie à Deux

Joker: Folie à Deux is now in theaters for early previews, officially opening tomorrow (October 4). But if you are watching the film tonight and are wondering if Joker 2: It’s Joker Again has an after-credits scene, we’ve got you covered. We’ve also got you covered if you call it an end-credits scene, a post-credits scene, a mid-credits scene, or whatever.

Starring Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck, aka The Joker, Lady Gaga as Harleen Quinzel, and directed by Todd Phillips, the sequel finds Arthur biding his time in Arkham until his trial for the murder of five people in the previous movie. There he meets an inmate/music student named Lee, and the two quickly fall in love. Also there’s a lot of purposefully awful singing because the movie is embarrassed to be a musical.

In any case, you’re wondering if there’s anything after the credits, or if you can get out of the theater, go home, and regret the life choices that led to you deciding to see this movie tonight? Read on for the answer.

Is There A Post Credit Scene in Joker 2?

No. That was pretty easy, right? After the movie ends, Phoenix and Gaga sing a song while the main credits roll, and then there are the regular credits. You can certainly hang around to pay tribute to all the people who worked hard on the film, but there’s nothing in terms of a secret scene with Batman showing up to sing “Mr. Lonely” or something.

This Is A Trick, Right? Classic Joker Move, How Many End Credits Are There?

There are zero end credits scenes. This is not me pulling one of The Joker’s classic ruses, nor am I going to throw out a last-minute twist. The movie ends, and as far as we’re aware Todd Phillips and Joaquin Phoenix are done with their time working on The Joker. Probably Lady Gaga too, but I dunknow, I don’t work for Warner Bros.

So Twisted, What Happens In The Mid-Credits Scene?

Sorry, should have specified that there’s no mid-credits scene on Joker 2: Oops, All Jokers either. There’s the credits, and that’s it.

Wow, How Nihilistic, Looks Like The Joker Has Done It Again

You just can’t trust that guy!
