The Boys Season 4, Episode 5 “Beware The Jabberwock, My Son” Synopsis:

Here’s the official synopsis for the episode, per Prime Video:

It’s the annual V52 Expo! Powered by fans, for fans! Where Superfans get a glimpse at Vought’s upcoming slate of exciting new superhero film and TV projects! But the backstage drama is the main event, as we glimpse the terrifying influence Homelander is having on Ryan. Meanwhile, Hughie helps his father find peace by letting him go. And Butcher and The Boys team up with two very unlikely allies to search for a virus that could be the key to stopping Homelander once and for all.

The Boys Season 4 Synopsis:

The world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son as well as his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.

The Boys is a fun and irreverent take on what happens when superheroes—who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and as revered as gods—abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. Intent on stopping the corrupt superheroes, The Boys, a group of vigilantes, continue their heroic quest to expose the truth about The Seven and Vought—the multibillion-dollar conglomerate that manages the superheroes and covers up their dirty secrets. It’s the seemingly powerless against the super powerful.

The Boys is based on The New York Times best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, who also serve as executive producers, and developed by executive producer and showrunner Eric Kripke. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Michaela Starr, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Meredith Glynn, Judalina Neira, Ken F. Levin, and Jason Netter also serve as executive producers. The Boys is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television, with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film, and Point Grey Pictures.
