Spider-Man is one of the most recognizable characters in the world. Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko for Marvel Comics in 1962, Peter Parker was an ordinary kid until he was bitten by a radioactive spider. There he gained the proportionate strength, speed, agility, and guilt of a spider. Or, actually, he learned about the guilt from accidentally letting his Uncle Ben be murdered. From there, he learned that with great power, comes great responsibility, and started his life as the superhero Spider-Man!
The character has been featured in nearly a dozen movies, animated shows, and even a live-action series or two. On Comic Book Club’s page, you can read reviews of Spidey’s comics, and listen to podcasts breaking down the movies. In addition, you can listen to interviews with Spider-Man writers and artists.
