We’re back in 2026 on HBO‘s Lanterns Episode 6, “Bad Optics,” as John Stewart investigates the murder of Hal Jordan, and we recap on our podcast. With John now an architect, he’s called back to Rushville once Hal is killed, and finds a town transformed by the events of 2016. Plus, Nathan Fillion’s Guy Gardner arrives, and that’s not the end of the Easter eggs and cameos peppered throughout the episode.
