Stan Lee’s Bring On The Bad Guys Gets 50th Anniversary Reprint:
Stan Lee’s classic Bring On The Bad Guys is getting a reprint for its 50th anniversary.
Per 13th Dimension, the 256-page trade paperback collects origin stories for Doctor Doom, Dormammu, Loki, The Red Skull, Green Goblin, Abomination, and Mephisto, as well as some ancillary material by Lee. It also shouldn’t be confused with Bring on the Bad Guys, a collection of new stories that was published earlier this year, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Bring on the Bad Guys.
Comics: so easy to understand!
Bring on the Bad Guys — the new printing of the old one — hits stores on October 6, 2026.
Artist Andy Fish Dead At Age 60:
Andy Fish, an artist best known for collaborating with his wife Veronica Fish, has died at age 60.
The news was shared by Veronica Fish on her Instagram, stating, “Andy passed away on September 5, 2026, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with two cancers. He brought them down, he fought valiantly. I have never loved and will never be loved like this again. Thank you, darling.”
The Fishes worked together on books for Marvel, Archie, and Dark Horse Comics, with notable runs on Sabrina the Teenage Witch, as well as several original graphic novels.
Per Fish’s obituary, “In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to The Boys & Girls Club of Worcester (www.bgcworcester.org), or The Hero Initiative (www.heroinitiative.org). In addition, a Worcester Art Museum scholarship will be established in Andy’s honor in the future.”
Fantastic Four: First Steps Continues With The Wizard One-Shot:
Marvel has been building out the MCU with a series of Fantastic Four: First Steps one-shots, and that will continue with The Wizard.
Not to be confused with the classic Fred Savage movie of the same name, this comic by Fabian Nicieza and Mark Buckingham will focus on villain Bentley Wittman and his team, the Frightful Four. This will actually be the final of five one-shots released by Marvel tying into the movie, all drawn by Buckingham. And as for whether there are future First Steps one-shots, or if Marvel Comics will continue these official MCU tie-ins with another movie? TBA.
Fantastic Four: First Foes – The Wizard #1 hits stores on December 9, 2026.
For Comic Book Club News, I’m Alex Zalben. And they should really introduce the Power Glove into the MCU. It’s so bad.
