On today’s episode we’re taking a look through some of the highlights from DC Comics November 2026 solicits, including Absolute Universe, Next Level and much more.
This is Comic Book Club News for August 24, 2026.
DC Comics November 2026 Solicit Highlights:
Over in the Absolute Universe, this month brings on Absolute Batman: Beyond Ark M #1, which promises a look inside the prison/labs of the Arks, introduces Professor Pyg, and promises some big surprises. Absolute Wonder Woman #26 sends Etta Candy to Gotham City. And Absolute Superman #25 concludes the “Get Brainiac” arc with a “shocking ending” that “will send Superman into a whole new era.”
In Gotham City, Barbara Gordon: Breakout #7 deals with the fallout of a “shocking twist” and finds Two-Face holding court in jail. Batwoman #9 reunites Greg Rucka with Leandro Fernández from The Old Guard. Gangs of Gotham #1 by Christopher Cantwell and Mike Henderson focuses on Anarky. Batman #15 maybe assassinates Bruce Wayne, while Batman 2026 Annual #1 reveals the Minotaur’s criminal conspiracy. And Batgirl #25 brings back David Cain as well as Batgirl co-creator Damion Scott on art.
Wonder Woman #39 brings on the Baby Hitler problem as the Amazons decide what to do with Baby The Matriarch. Justice League Unlimited #25 ties into DC K.O. from Mark Waid and Dan Mora, and also includes a new Dreamer story from Nicole Maines and Fico Ossio. DC’s Naughty List #1 is this year’s holiday anthology. And Legion of Super-Heroes #3 intriguingly promises a loss for Lightning Lad and a big shock.
One final highlight: Absolute Batman Vol. 1 Deluxe Edition, which was teased at San Diego Comic-Con. The 424 page book will cost a cool $49.99, and will include Absolute Batman #1-#14, aka the first two trade collections, as well as “an introduction from Absolute Universe architect Scott Snyder and development art from superstar artist Nick Dragotta showcasing the creation of this darker, street-level Batman.”
