‘The Pitt’ Teases Season 3 Return With First Trailer, New Images

No, you haven’t been in a coma… The Pitt won’t return for Season 3 until January, 2027 on HBO Max. But we’ve already got a teaser trailer and first look images for the new season. Right here, right now.

Picking up months after the July 4 set Season 2, Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle) is back at the hospital, and as far as we can tell did not die in a motorcycle accident. Nor is he carting around a baby. So most of what folks speculated about after the Season 2 finale? Sorry.

That said, most of the rest of the cast is back in the look as we enter another long shift at the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center. And we’ve even got some more full-time cast-members joining the cast from recurring capacity. You can check out HBO’s official PR for the season, followed by the images and then the trailer, below.

• HBO Max has released the first official teaser and first look images for season 3 of the Emmy^®-winning Max Original drama series THE PITT, from John Wells Productions (JWP) and Warner Bros. Television, created by R. Scott Gemmill and starring Noah Wyle. The critically acclaimed series, which earned 26 Emmy^® Award nominations for season 2, will return for its third season in January 2027.
   
• Logline: THE PITT is a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh.
   
• Season 3 cast: Noah Wyle (Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch), Patrick Ball (Dr. Langdon), Katherine LaNasa (Dana Evans), Fiona Dourif (Dr. McKay), Taylor Dearden (Dr. King), Isa Briones (Dr. Santos), Gerran Howell (Dr. Whitaker), Shabana Azeez (Javadi), Ayesha Harris (Dr. Ellis), Sepideh Moafi (Dr. Al-Hashimi), Shawn Hatosy (Dr. Abbot).
   
• Season 3 credits: THE PITT is produced by John Wells Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, where JWP is under an overall deal. R. Scott Gemmill created the series and serves as an executive producer alongside Emmy^® Award winner John Wells (Animal Kingdom, Shameless, The West Wing, ER), Noah Wyle, Michael Hissrich (Shameless, The West Wing, Third Watch), JWP’s Erin Jontow (Animal Kingdom, Maid, Shameless), Joe Sachs (ER), Simran Baidwan (Manifest, Ordinary Joe, The Good Doctor, Chicago Med), and Eli Attie (The Diplomat, Zero Day, The West Wing).
