Jean Grey’s grey jeans are headed back to Earth in a five issue miniseries from Marvel.
Written by Jed MacKay with art by Rogê Antônio, the series will take place after the events of DNX, though how Jean (who is in space) will tie into the series (which is set on Earth) is TBA. However, after the five issue series, Jean Grey will be a big part of the X-Men going forward, in the ongoing series.
So, what will happen in the five issues? Per the synopsis, “The PHOENIX is headed to Earth. JEAN GREY is aflame within. When she touches down, will she consume all she touches…or will she maintain control of the life-giving, life-taking power coursing through her? Hot on the heels of DNX — a new chapter for Jean Grey and the X-MEN begins HERE AND NOW!”
Okay, cool! Anyway, spoilers for Spider-Man: Brand New Day but it’s sort of surprising given the massive popularity of the movie that there isn’t even more of a push to have a Jean Grey title that aligns closer to Sadie Sink’s take. Perhaps Jean gets deaged? I dunknow, I don’t work at Marvel, leave me alone.
