Marvel First Look: Avengers #1

Avengers: Armageddon isn’t even halfway done, but we’ve already got your first look at Avengers #1 from Marvel Comics, written by Chip Zdarsky with art by Marco Checchetto.

Spinning out of the end of the currently running event series, the new Avengers lineup includes Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Daredevil, Wolverine, Luke Cage and “a powerhouse new hero” all fighting to “protect a broken world that has more reason than ever not to trust them.”

In the preview, the team begins to come together — and also, get so many covers, thanks to True Believers Blind Bags. Included in the preview below are Adi Granov’s cover, and a Marvel Studios variant with the Avengers: Doomsday poster.
