New Comics This Week: Full Comics List For August 5, 2026

New month, new comics. That’s how it works! And there are lots of great new comics this week for August 5, 2026, so let’s get into some highlights coming to comic book stores, followed by the full list of single issues.

DC Comics is giving us a new butler for Batman in Batman #12, named Verity Pennyworth. Meanwhile, Absolute Superman #22 picks up the fight against a body horror Brainiac. And The Deadman #3 continues the wild weirdness from the team behind Ice Cream Man.

Marvel celebrates 65 years with Fantastic Four #15 as Johnny’s mustache saves New York. And they also celebrate 60 years with Mary Jane: Face It, Tiger #1, which features Ann Nocenti, J.M. DeMatteis and more. And Marvel Tōkon: First Strike #1 tees up the new fighting game.

Over at BOOM! Studios, Power Rangers: Green #1 is basically Old Man Tommy. Iman Vellani jumps ship from Marvel to Image Comics for the gorgeous noir Chachu #1. And Matt Kindt and Brian Hurtt go hog wild with Oni Press Fort Psycho #1.
