9 Most Anticipated Marvel Comics For August 2026

MILES MORALES: SPIDER-MAN #1 crop

Marvel Comics, as it has been for the past few months, is in a really odd place right now. There are the real world changes of a switch in Editor-in-Chief (and even further up the chain) that really won’t see any changes in the publication line for another three months, at the very least. And they’ve been constantly pummeled with the “DC rulez, Marvel droolz” narrative. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t still good titles coming out from the publisher.

Some of those titles are events, others are one-shots and miniseries. And others are even — get this — ongoing series. So with that in mind, we picked out nine comics to keep your eye on hitting comic book stores from Marvel in August of 2026. And as a note, these are presented in chronological release order.
