Marvel just wrapped up its Midnight Universe panel at San Diego Comic-Con, and while we’ve got advance looks at the covers and solicit info for the second issues of Midnight X-Men, Midnight Spider-Man, and Midnight Fantastic Four. But by far the more interesting piece of info? They’ll all be, once again, released on the same day.
While the initial plan was to release the horror-infused Midnight Universe titles monthly, starting in August with X-Men, the plan shifted to all three hitting stores as the only releases from Marvel on October 7, 2026. While we expect that the second issues will be accompanied by other periodicals in November, again, all three issues will be released simultaneously, on November 18.
In addition, as previously announced, all Midnight titles will sport the same five covers (with potential for more), which, per Marvel, brings “greater consistency and clarity to the variant cover collecting experience, this new program allows readers to choose their favorites and ensure that their local comic shop knows exactly what they’ll want, every month, without question.”
