DC Unveils ‘Superman Experience’ Comic At San Diego Comic-Con — And Later At The Warner Bros Studio Tour

Welcome to Superman… Hope you survive the experience. Wait, that’s not right. Rather, if you are currently surviving the experience of being at San Diego Comic-Con, you’ll have a chance to snag a free copy of the just revealed Superman Experience #1 at the DC Booth $4544.

Written by Josh Trujillo with art by Bruno Abdias and a cover by Bernard Chang, the comic is crafted to celebrate the opening of the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood’s latest addition, Superman Experience: Defenders Unite. Unlike the rest of the tour which walks you around locations where they filmed Batman, Friends, Gilmore Girls and more (lame!), the Superman Experience is a, per PR, “walkthrough experience and live gameplay attraction on the iconic Warner Bros. Studios lot offering guests the ability to unlock and hone their super powers, work as a team, and enjoy the illusion of flying alongside Superman through next-generation motion capture technology, active 3D glasses, and high-definition audio.” Cool!

Actually, seriously, the whole WB Studio Tour IS very cool so I’m being sarcastic but I bet this is cool, also.

Back to the comic, while you’re posting for photos with Superman and Krypto at an “immersive Fortress of Solitude,” you can grab the comic which featured Superman battling Darkseid. If you aren’t at the convention, or miss it entirely, you’ll be able to purchase it later at the Studio Store, which is where I found my favorite Flash hat which I don’t think they make anymore, and definitely don’t sell anywhere else.
