Move over, Free Comic Book Day, it’s almost time for Trick-Or-Read, which takes over Halloween to give away free comics to kids — and adults. This year? Marvel is giving away Infernal Hulk #1, and Spider and His Amazing Friends #1.
That’s pretty much the long and the short of it… Like Free Comic Book Day, you’ll have to check with your Local Comic Shop (LCS) to see if they’re participating, and whether they have both issues (Infernal Hulk is decidedly for mature readers; Spidey is decidedly not). So don’t expect to walk in and start pulling comics off the shelves.
But! It is a nice program, and from my own experience kids choose comics over candy every time, so take ’em to the comic book shop this Halloween.
