‘Vampirella’ Compact Collection Bites Into Kurt Busiek’s Legendary Run

Dynamite has slowly been expanding their line of Compact Comics, and in advance of San Diego Comic-Con they’ve announced a big one, literally: a 480-page collection titled Vampirella: Kurt Busiek Collection Compact Edition.

Per the Compact format, the book will be 5.5″ x 8.5″, and includes, per PR, the “classic 1991 Vampirella miniseries known as ‘Morning in America,’ the Summer Nights special, and then the first four issues of the following series featuring ‘Dracula War.'”

Originally published by Harris Comics, the book includes stories by Busiek, as well as Tom Sniegoski, and art by Louis La Chance, Louis Small Jr., Dave Cockrum, James Fry, Richard Howell, and more.

The book will hit stores this October on a date TBA. Check out the cover and a few full-color interior pages, below.
