‘Vampirella’ To Cross Over With ‘Pathfinder’ In New Five-Issue Series

Is Vampirella the new Godzilla? The character is certainly crossing over with everyone and everything, from Witchblade, to Darkstalkers, and now the tabletop game Pathfinder in a five-issue series starting this October from Dynamite titled Pathfinder/Vampirella: Blade of Darkness.

Written by Erik Burnham with art by Federico Dallocchio, the new series finds vampire lord Zaloch performing a summoning ritual to give vampires the advantage in the world of Pathfinder, only to pull in Vampirella. And when monster hunters show up, “this unexpected crossover will rival any fantasy and roleplaying romps. Some of Pathfinder’s most legendary heroes get tangled up in the mayhem too, as partners on and off the battlefield Kyra and Merisiel, the elf rogue and human Sarenite, join the fracas!”

“Golarion is a fantastic sandbox to play in, and the only complaint I’ve had so far is that I only have so many pages to explore it!,” said Burnham via press release. “Not only has introducing Vampirella into a new world full of gods, monsters, and heroes been a treat for me, so has getting to write those gods, monsters, and heroes for the first time — and knock on wood, not the last!”

The first issue will feature covers by Steven Cummings and Andrew Huerta, a character sheet cover by Wayne Reynolds, and of course: blind bags. Check out the covers below.
