If you missed the (life-changing) The Vampire Lestat concert held in New York City last month, you’ll have a second chance, as AMC has announced highlights from The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only Live will be shown off before the series’s San Diego Comic-Con panel — this year held in Hall H.
That will be followed by a full Vampire Lestat panel featuring cast and crew of the Anne Rice-based hit. But it’s far from the only thing AMC has cooked up for the annual convention. Other highlights include a requisite Hall H panel for The Walking Dead: Dead City, a spotlight on Deborah Ann Woll, and a first look at YAGA, a new series coming to AMC.
In addition, you can (maybe) attend the premiere of Dead City Season 3, held the night after the Dead City panel. Want to know more? Read on for the full schedule, per AMC.
The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 3 Panel on Friday, July 24, 11:45am-12:30pm, Hall H
Cast and executive producers, including Jeffrey Dean Morgan (executive producer, “Negan”), Lauren Cohan (executive producer, “Maggie”), Aimee Garcia (“Renata”), Raúl Castillo (“Omar”), Seth Hoffman (showrunner and executive producer), and Scott Gimple (executive producer) discuss the upcoming third season, premiering Sunday, July 26, and reveal an exclusive sneak peek from the premiere episode. The panel will be moderated by Entertainment Weekly’s Dalton Ross.
In season three, Maggie (Cohan) and Negan (Morgan) finally put aside their differences to build the first thriving community in Manhattan since the apocalypse, but when chaos in the city begins to arise, they are forced to question: have they learned from their old wounds or will their dark past spell doom for the entire city?
Comic-Con attendees will have the opportunity to attend a special advance screening of the series’ highly anticipated season premiere on Friday evening, July 24 at The Loft at Petco Park from 6:30-8:30pm PT, to be introduced by the cast and producers.

The Vampire Lestat Panel on Friday, July 24, 12:30pm-1:15pm, Hall H
The Vampire Lestat cast and producers, including Jacob Anderson (“Louis du Pointe du Lac”), Assad Zaman (“Armand”) and Eric Bogosian (“Daniel Molloy”), Rolin Jones (creator and showrunner), Mark Johnson (executive producer) and Hannah Moscovitch (executive producer) take the stage for a panel moderated by Rotten Tomatoes’ Jacqueline Coley discussing the jaw-dropping season finale, with highlights from the electrifying music performance The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only Live, featuring original songs from series composer Daniel Hart and performed by Sam Reid as Lestat.
This season, Lestat (Reid) goes on an electric multi-city tour while being haunted by “muses” from his wild and rebellious past. As his band’s popularity and star power rises, so does Lestat’s influence over vampires and humans alike, leaving others to contend with Lestat’s power in the face of the Great Conversion, an unnatural surge in the vampire population.
YAGA Panel on Saturday, July 25, 12:30pm-1:30pm, Indigo Ballroom, Hilton Bayfront
Series cast members Noah Reid (Schitt’s Creek, The Vampire Lestat), Clark Backo (Venom: The Last Dance, Letterkenny), and Carrie-Anne Moss (Matrix Films, Memento) are joined by Showrunner and Executive Producer Kat Sandler for a panel discussion moderated by TV Guide Magazine and TV Insider’s Damian Holbrook that will feature a sneak preview of the new AMC+ series.
Based on the play by Sandler, YAGA reimagines the Slavic folk tale of the Baba Yaga witch, as a contemporary mystery thriller. It follows Rapp (Reid), a private investigator who arrives in a small coastal town to investigate the disappearance of a young heir to a powerful fishery, Henry Park (Hudson Williams, Heated Rivalry). Rapp finds himself at odds with an apprehensive local detective, Carson (Backo); a charismatic university professor, Katherine (Moss) and a labyrinth of enigmatic suspects, secret lives and ancient magic. YAGA is an original series from Canadian streamer Crave, produced by Blink49 Studios and Front Street Pictures in association with Bell Media. YAGA is distributed internationally by Sphere Abacus, a Bell Media company.
