Marvel has been taking a lot of knocks lately for a variety of things, but that’s nothing that a bunch of covers won’t solve. Enter the latest round for Amazing Spider-Man #1000 which don’t quite bring the issue up to one thousand variants but I feel like we have to be getting close, right?
The new batch of covers include ones by Erik Larsen, MR Garcin and Julian Totino Tedesco, “along with a Marvel Studios Variant Cover commemorating the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, in theaters July 31,” per a release from the publisher.
Of the covers, we get a classic one by Larsen, a wild collage by Garcin that makes up Spidey’s face with other faces, one by Tedesco that shows Spider-Man swinging with a cake you just know is going to get ruined before he meets up with Aunt May, and that Marvel Studios variant. Meanwhile, Ramos’s cover is for a story titled “Requiem of a Goblin,” drawn by Ramos and written by the legendary J.M. DeMatteis.
Amazing Spider-Man #1000 hits stores on September 16, 2026. You can check out the covers below, and I think once we get several more, all of [gestures] those problem will basically fix themselves.
