Exquisite Corpses Spins Off Fox Mask Killer:
The corpses are exquisite and so are the spinoffs as Tiny Onion and Image Comics have revealed more about yet another series, Exquisite Corpses: Fox Mask Killer.
Written by Che Grayson with art by Adam Gorham, per the title the book will focus on “The enigmatic Fox Mask Killer [who] wants the one thing even she can’t have: she wants out. And the only person who can offer her an opportunity to get away from her old life may be the devil herself…Discover the thrilling—and tragic—backstory of Exquisite Corpses’ most emblematic killer.”
Along with Fox Mask Killer and the previously announced Rascal Randy spinoff, Pornsak Pitcheshote and Alberto Ponticelli will tackle Exquisite Corpses: Lone Gunman, as well as an anthology one-shot and an upcoming second season of the main title.
Exquisite Corpses: Fox Mask Killer #1 will hit stores on September 16.
Kelly And Lanzing Helm New IDW Horror Series:
There are a few simple rules in life, but one of the biggest? Don’t go to a party at Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing’s house, as they’ll likely say: You’ll Never Leave This Place Alive. Turns out though, they’re just talking about their new IDW Dark series, with artist Heather Vaughan.
In the new series, a woman named Phoebe Joplin lives in a remote community with her four friends, where there are no danger or secrets. At least until the night they graduate, “When one of them dies under impossible circumstances, Phee starts to pull at the edges of her perfect life — and finds something far more terrifying than she ever imagined. Because this place isn’t a sanctuary. It’s a cage. And no one who finds out survives.”
You’ll Never Leave This Place Alive #1 hits stores on October 14, 2026.
Image Comics Goes Bananas For New Series:
Writer Eliot Rahal and artist Mattia Monaco are going totally bananas with the new neo-noir crime comedy Crimes Against Nature from Image Comics.
In the book, a Hollywood animal trainer named Doctor Kermit Groedan teams up with Amigo the Ape, the “first gorilla ever nominated for an Academy Award,” after they’re framed for a crime that, of course, they did not commit. On the run, the duo will have to confront their hidden past and have their friendship tested.
Crimes Against Nature #1 hits stores on September 23, 2026.
