After two excellent and action packed series for Dark Horse Comics, writer Zack Kaplan and artist Francesco Mortarino will do what no characters in the book can actually do and kill Kill All Immortals with Kill All Immortals III, this October.
“I cannot wait to bring you the finale of Kill All Immortals,” said Kaplan via press release. “The response since we first launched this series has been nothing but incredible, and it’s been a joy to share this exciting family drama of barbaric Vikings in our modern world. And if you thought we’ve raised the stakes in Season II, you ain’t seen nothing yet. We are so lucky to be joined by Francesco Mortarino who delivers a poetic and action-packed conclusion to Frey’s story. The first two trades will be out and this conclusion is not to be missed. We will not be holding back on this one and it will be worthy of the series we’ve given you so far!”
Added Mortarino, “Having the chance to get my hands on this fantastic series is an incredible opportunity for me! The special atmosphere created to tell this story is an incredible challenge; it allows me to push my limits and learn a new way of telling stories through images. I’ve loved learning to draw every member of the Asvald family, and I can’t wait to draw their past versions! I hope you’ll enjoy this series; I’m putting my heart and soul into it to live up to your expectations!”
The book will also feature colors by Thiago Rocha and letters by Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou, as well as covers by Oliver Barrett, Eliza Ivanova, Elena Casagrande, and Jenny Frison.
