Covenant, Volume 6, the Webtoon hit, is getting ready to launch on Kickstarter from Oni Press. And if you’re praying there are some great bonuses, there are: prayer beads, which will be available on the Kickstarter once it launches, and Comic Book Club can exclusively reveal below.
Created by LySandra Vuong, also known as Explodikid, the series “follows a powerful exorcist with no faith in God, who’s tasked to protect a seemingly normal human from rising evil forces. There’s demons that must be defeated, an impending war, and the weight of destiny to overcome.”
“COVENANT is a supernatural action series about faith, family, and finding your place in a world that expects you to be something you’re not,” said Vuong via press release. “What begins as an action-packed comic about exorcists, demons, and angels reveals a deeply personal story about trauma, love, and the courage to choose your own path. At its heart, it follows Sunny and Ezra as they navigate Heaven and Hell while learning who they are — and who they want to be.”
While millions have read the Webtoon, Oni Press will be publishing The Final Chapter, a “never-before-seen” sixth volume wrapping up the “supernatural queer romance, available only in print.” The book will hit stores in July 2027, but by reserving the book on Kickstarter you can also snag some cool bonuses. Those include multiple editions of the book, as well as sweet, sweet merch including Tarot Cards, pins, an acrylic standee, a devotional candle, a t-shirt styled like a hardcore metal band, and — you guessed it — prayer beads.
