8 Most Anticipated Marvel Comics For June 2026

Ultimate Endgame #5 crop

At long last, the Ultimate Universe is done in June of 2026. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been a fan of Marvel’s rebooted Ultimate line, but the comics, er, ultimately took quite a while to come out… And now, it’s wrapping up for good, for real.

That’s not the only thing to look forward to in June, though. There’s also a hugely teased issue of Amazing Spider-Man, a few miniseries, and more big events in the form of a Red Hulk attack. So with that in mind, let’s get into the eight most anticipated Marvel Comics of June 2026, presented in chronological release order.

1. Cyclops #5

Cyclops #5 cover

Release Date: June 3, 2026

The excellent miniseries redefining the X-Men leader from Alex Paknadel and Rogê Antônio finishes with this issue, and there’s every indication the villainous Reavers might win. I mean, they probably won’t. But maybe?

2. X-Men ’97: Season Two #1

X-MEN ‘97: SEASON TWO #1 (OF 5) cover

Release Date: June 3, 2026

Now a de facto thing that Marvel Comics does, X-Men ’97: Season Two bridges the gap between the first and second seasons of the Disney+ series. So technically it should have been X-Men ’97: Season One Point Five, right? RIGHT?

3. Avengers: Armageddon #1

Avengers: Armageddon #1 cover

Release Date: June 10, 2026

Marvel’s big event that promises to redefine the Avengers (again) begins this month as Red Hulk takes over Latveria. And then, presumably, some other stuff happens.

4. Jay & Silent Bob: Jays Of Future Past #1

JAY & SILENT BOB: JAYS OF FUTURE PAST #1 cover

Release Date: June 10, 2026

Kevin Smith crosses over his most famous creations with the Marvel Universe because sure, why not? They weren’t even supposed to be here today!

5. The Amazing Spider-Man #31

Amazing Spider-Man #31 cover

Release Date: June 17, 2026

It’s pretty bold to suggest this is one of the “most pivotal issues in Spider-Man history” but Joe Kelly has been bringing it, issue after issue. It seems like this will have something to do with Aunt May, Uncle Ben, and the new Parker cousin that’s been introduced in recent issues. But will it bring Trouble into continuity? Probably not.

6. Spider-Man: Long Way Home #1

SPIDER-MAN: LONG WAY HOME #1 (OF 5) cover

Release Date: June 17, 2026

Jonathan Hickman and Adam Kubert team up to send Spider-Man, Hulk, and Punisher into the jungle after a cosmic cube. If it’s anything like the over-the-top Wolverine: Revenge this should be a good one.

7. Ultimate Endgame #5

ULTIMATE ENDGAME #5

Release Date: June 24, 2026

The Ultimate Universe for real ends forever in this issue, with no continuations of any kind, wrapping up all the titles in the line forever.

8. Ultimate Universe: Finale #1

Ultimate Universe: Finale #1 cover

Release Date: June 24, 2026

Oh, sorry, except for this issue, which brings together the creative teams of the various Ultimate Universe books to wrap things up for real, seriously this time, no joking around.
