14 Most Anticipated DC Comics For June 2026

Justice League: Dream Girls - A DC Pride Event #1 crop

DC Comics has been on a non-stop tear for months now, and it doesn’t look like that’ll stop in June of 2026. The publisher is delicately expanding the Absolute Universe, dropping a hug Pride event series, and much more.

Wondering what to look forward to in the month that’s coming up? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with our list of 14 most anticipated single issues dropping in June. So let’s get to it, and break down the titles, presented in chronological release order.

1. Batman #10

Batman #10 cover

Release Date: June 3, 2026

Hey, have you heard of this Batman guy? Matt Fraction and Jorge Jiménez sure have, and have been delivering wild, essentially done-in-one issues each time out of the gate with this best-selling title. This month Batman goes on the offensive against Vandal Savage, and it’s sure to be the tenth unpredictable issue in an entirely unpredictable run.

2. The Deadman #1

The Deadman #1 cover

Release Date: June 3, 2026

The team from Ice Cream Man (and DC’s Superman: The Kryptonite Spectrum) head to mainline DC with a title that deals with the fallout of DC K.O. and features the wildest synopses you’ve ever read in your life. Can’t wait!

3. Supergirl: Survive #1

Supergirl: Survive #1 cover

Release Date: June 3, 2026

After last month’s “what if Jor-El was in Superman’s baby rocket?” this month we get “what if Supergirl AND Kal-El were in Superman’s baby rocket?” But it also sports writers Ethan S. Parker and Griffin Sheridan, who probably came here in a rocket together and gained great writing abilities under our yellow sun, so this should be a fun time.

4. Harley & Ivy: Life and Crimes #6

Harley and Ivy: Life and Crimes #6 cover

Release Date: June 3, 2026

While I wish this series would run for 5000 issues, sadly, Erica Henderson’s delightful retelling of Harley and Ivy’s love story will wrap up with this month’s issue six. Ending this series now, at the beginning of Pride? Boooo!!

5. Justice League: Dream Girls – A DC Pride Event #1

Justice League: Dream Girls - A DC Pride Event #1 cover

Release Date: June 3, 2026

Okay, fine, Pride is back on with this week week event series that sends Galaxy and Dreamer through time and space to discover the true meaning of Christmas (except not that last part at all). It comes form Nicole Maines and Jadzia Axelrod, two writers who have helped usher these beloved characters and pushed them forward to the, dare we hope, Next Level.

6. Absolute Catwoman #1

Absolute Catwoman #1 cover

Release Date: June 10, 2026

Another expansion of the Absolute Universe, this time a six-issue miniseries showing what happened with Selina Kyle when she left Gotham, before we looped back to her in the current Absolute Batman continuity. Scott Snyder and Che Grayson write, Bengal provides art.

7. Absolute Batman #21

Absolute Batman #21 cover

Release Date: June 17, 2026

If you’ve been waiting to find out what the Absolute versions of Two-Face and Penguin look like, this is your month. The biggest book in comics, this is a must-read.

8. Absolute Green Arrow #2

Absolute Green Arrow #2 cover

Release Date: June 17, 2026

After a killer (literally) first issue, the new Absolute Universe title continues as we delve deeper into the mystery of the Green Arrow killer, and Dinah investigates Mia Dearden.

9. MAD #600

MAD #600 cover

Release Date: June 17, 2026

After the big success of the MAD About DC special, the humor magazine is back with a 600th issue that only took about 75 years to get to. Congrats! Oh, and this reprints the best of MAD About DC, so if you missed that, you’ll still have missed most of it.

10. Absolute Wonder Woman #21

Absolute Wonder Woman #21 cover

Release Date: June 24, 2026

My personal favorite of the Absolute Universe titles, Kelly Thompson and Hayden Sherman have been delivering the most heart-on-its-sleeve comic book on stands, month after month. And the heart-breaking end of the last issue makes this another must-read.

11. Superman #39

Superman #39 cover

Release Date: June 24, 2026

Joshua Williamson and Dan Mora’s run on Superboy Prime has been appropriately meta, but this issue looks nuts as SP is dragged Looney Tunes style into the margins of a comic book itself.

12. Wonder Woman #34

Wonder Woman #34 cover

Release Date: June 24, 2026

The end of the first act of “Wonder War” finds Trinity and Steve Trevor making some big moves against the Matriarch. And while the story will take a two month break with a new creative team after this, if things go the way we think there’ll be some big stuff going down in the future of the DCU from the end of this.

13. Swamp Thing 1989 #3

Swamp Thing 1989 #3 cover

Release Date: June 24, 2026

Back when we talked to writer Rick Veitch he mentioned that for decades he couldn’t really crack this issue — until he did, which is partially why Swamp Thing 1989 is happening now. Whatever it is, can’t wait!

14. Summer of Supergirl Special #1

DC’s Summer of Supergirl Special #1 main cover by Belén Ortega

Release Date: June 24, 2026

Wait, I’m sorry: a comic book company actually released a comic book that properly tees up a big Summer movie, the same week that movie hits theaters? So if you go see Supergirl and want to see her tangling with Lobo in a comic book, there it is? Wild! I didn’t know you could do that!
