If you were at the Los Angeles finale party for The Boys, you got a sneak peek of the new teaser trailer/first look at Vought Rising, the upcoming prequel series set int he VCU (Vought Cinematic Universe). And now, everyone can watch it as the teaser trailer has dropped online from Prime Video.
While we still don’t have an exact premiere date for the series (it’ll be some time in 2027), we do know that it will be set in the 1950s, and bring back Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy to show the beginnings of his time in the costume, as well as his relationship with Klara/Stormfront (Aya Cash). Not only that, it’ll feature a murder mystery, and reportedly a darker, more serious tone than the original series.
The show — which has already been filmed, and is in post-production — also stars Mason Dye, Will Hochman, KiKi Layne, Jorden Myrie, Nicolo Pasetti, Elizabeth Posey, Ricky Staffieri, and Brian J. Smith.
