Does ‘Mandalorian And Grogu’ Have A Post Credits Scene?

The first Star Wars movie in years has arrived with The Mandalorian and Grogu. And though we found the movie to be a generally pleasing family adventure (read our review for more), at two and a half hours(ish) you might be looking to book it out of the theater as soon as those credits start rolling. But hey, it’s 2026, and you’re probably wondering: does Mandalorian and Grogu have a post credits scene?

On the off-chance you didn’t just read the AI-generated text from Google and call it a day, and by the way, Google is decimating not just your favorite websites and their own search engine with this janky technology, but actively hastening the end of the Earth as we hurtle towards ecological disaster, here’s one thousands words before I say “no.”

Oops, did I just say “no” up top? My bad! But yeah, there is no post credits scene on the movie, nor a mid-credits scene, or an end credits scene, or whatever you call it. Just your regulation credits and Ludwig Göransson’s frankly awesome score for the movie.

However, since you read this far in spite of the AI searches, I’m gonna give you one fun surprise I picked up in the credits that I certainly did not pick up in the movie: Anthony Daniels, who you likely know as C-3P0, is the voice of “Air Traffic Control Droid.” Meaning even though he doesn’t reprise the golden droid in the film, he’s still been the consistent presence across every movie. Pretty neat!

Have Any Star Wars Movies Had Post Credits Scenes?

Okay, some more bonus info here: other than a tribute to the departed Carrie Fisher in the credits of The Last Jedi, no theatrical entry in the franchise has had anything play during the credits. However, Mandalorian and Grogu is based on a TV show, so it’s reasonable to think that this could shake the trend.

Again, it doesn’t. But there have been three post credits scenes on Disney+. The first was the end of Mandalorian Season 2, which found Boba Fett (Temeura Morrison) and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) killing Bib Fortuna to take control of Jabba the Hutt’s crime empire leading into the events of The Book of Boba Fett.

Similarly, Book of Boba Fett had a post-credits scene on the finale found the seemingly slain Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant) being operated on by a “modifier,” aka brought back to life (probably). The final post-credits scene was the end of Andor Season 1, which revealed what the prisoners of the Narkina 5 prison complex were working on: parts for the Death Star.

So there you go! Some extra info. But if you really need to use the bathroom as soon as Grogu says “fuck you” at the end of Mandalorian and Grogu (you’re allowed one “fuck” in a PG-13 movie), feel free to leave. Just kidding, Grogu would never say that.
