‘Yumi: 00EX’ Is A MI6 Spy-Thriller Powered By An “AI Lamborghini That’s Built… Like A Weapon Of Mass Destruction”

What do you get when you mix an “AI Lamborghini” and a woman on a tear to get her boyfriend back? You get Yumi: 00EX #1, a new series from Image Comics.

Written by Doug Wagner with art by Hoyt Silva, the four issue long series focuses on a woman who’s MI6 agent boyfriend disappears. So naturally, she barrels into the agency, hacks the network, dismantles all the operatives, and sets “everything on fire.” But she also gains a new ally. Per PR from Image, “a fully AI Lamborghini that’s built less like a car and more like a Weapon of Mass Destruction. Yumi is in love. Yumi is lethal.”

If you know anything about Wagner’s work — among others, the bonkers Narco, Plastic, and I Was A Fashion School Serial Killer — that’s likely the tip of the crazy-berg.
