Anywho, because Mary Jane said a thing one time 60 years ago, the publisher will release the one-shot Mary Jane: Face It, Tiger #1, a celebration of all things MJ featuring all-new stories and a glimpse of what’s to come.
“Since we first saw her ASM #42, we ALL hit the jackpot!” says Spider-Editor Nick Lowe, who was bitten by a radioactive editor, via press release. “Mary Jane has had one heck of a journey from supporting character in a love-triangle all the way to super hero! It’s super rare for a supporting character to become a main character, but Ms. Watson is one of those rare breeds and we’re all lucky to be a part of her story!”
In the book, you’ll get stories from J.M. DeMatteis, J. Michael Straczynski, Ann Nocenti, and Ashley Allen, alongside art from Phil Noto, Alina Erofeeva, Andrea Broccardo, and Luigi Zagaria.
Mary Jane: Face It, Tiger #1 hits stores on August 5, 2026 with covers by Jim Chueng and David Nakayama. And if you want to hit the jackpot, kids, then stay away from hitting that bong!
