With several shocking game-changers, Daredevil: Born Again wrapped up Season 2 with “The Southern Cross.” And given those multiple shocking twists, you’re probably wondering what’s next for Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) and the rest of the gang. But most importantly, when will Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 premiere on Disney+?
To recap briefly, and spoilers past this point, the season ended with Daredevil revealing his identity, Kingpin in exile, the return of Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Bullseye (Wilson Bethel) headed off to… Somewhere… With Mr. Charles (Matthew Lillard). So lots of potential places this all can go, right? But is it going there? Where is it going next? Let’s get into it.
Has Daredevil: Born Again Been Renewed Or Canceled?
Great news, Daredevil: Born Again was renewed for Season 3 back in September of 2025, despite some reports to the contrary (it’s possible the confusion may have come from Season 2 technically being the second half of Season 1). And in act, Season 3 kicked off production throughout New York City in March, and will be filming until July. So barring something catastrophic happening, yes, Virginia, there will be a Daredevil: Born Again Season 3.
How Many Episodes Are In Daredevil: Born Again Season 2?
Just to clarify this part, this week’s episode was the Season 2 finale. However! There’s sort of another episode next week at the same time, in the form of a one-off Punisher (Jon Bernthal) special titled The Punisher: One Last Kill, which will likely reveal why Frank Castle wasn’t in the events of Born Again Season 2. After that, though, there are no more episodes until Season 3.
When Will Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 Premiere On Disney+?
Normally we have to go through a lot of math and educated speculation about when a new season of TV might premiere, as everything is so all over the place, all the time. Great news: no need to do the math here, Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is tentatively scheduled for a March of 2027 premiere. While we won’t have the exact date — or confirmation — for a while, the plan is to release new seasons of the show every year like clockwork. Granted, I’ve expressed some doubts about this past Season 3 based on ratings, but that’s a problem for another article. As is, as long as everything stays on track we’ll find out what’s up with Matt and Wilson in a little under a year.
Who Is In Daredevil: Born Again Season 3? What To Know About The New Season:
One of the joys and pains of filming in a real location like New York City is that there are lots of people with cameras. So spoilers past this point, but alongside Cox and D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll will be back as Karen Page, Margarita Levieva is back as Heather Glenn and now fully the serial killer known as Muse, Wilson Bethel returns as Bullseye, Arty Froushan as Buck Cashman, and Zabryna Guevara as interim mayor Sheila Rivera.
In addition, Krysten Ritter returns as Jessica Jones, alongside Mike Colter as Luke Cage and Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist. Given how we’ve seen Colter dressed on set, it’s seems possible he may be running for mayor, as he does in the comics at the conclusion of the Mayor Fisk storyline.
Other than that, we don’t know much though the season will be a back to basics approach that won’t hit politics, and won’t have Fisk vs. Murdock as the focal point, instead including new villains TBA.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 premieres on Tuesday March 24 on Disney+ at 9pm ET / 6pm PT, with new episodes weekly except for the second week which has two episodes to make room for a Punisher one-shot special episode on May 12.
